Weight and test clips work fine but the double sided tape is terrible. Three weights flew off my fan. I bought 3M double sided tape and it works much better and I recommend you do the same if you buy it.

Over the past 50 years, having hung and balanced more ceiling fans, I can count that all of these sets are the same. This offered a variety of weights and 4 sliding test weights. And they are needed, measuring the blade tip from the ceiling, looking for blade sag isn't the best way and changes little. And often when you hit a blade, it makes a big difference. But after finding it, you still need ck. others to fully balance the fan and this kit allows you to do just that.

The fan was severely unbalanced. The instructions were easy and as every bit is trial and error it was a pleasure to read exactly that in the instructions. The plastic strips stayed on the blades even at high speed and once I had balance with them the paring and bar weights set up easily and seemed to match the weight of the clips exactly. Aside from the time spent waiting for the fan blades to slow down after each test run, this was an easy and quick fix for a 7.5g unbalanced blade.

Living in an apartment with an old swinging ceiling fan used to drive me crazy at night. It swayed so much that the chains rattled and rattled against the glass mounts. This completely fixed the problem. I had to put 2 weights, one for 2 blades and no more swinging.

Simple and effective kit. Using the guide I was able to remove the severely unbalanced fan and eliminate almost all vibration - no more clicking or squeaking. A discovery that might help others: Each clip weighs approximately 2g and each weighs 3g. So three clips = 2 weights, not 3, a bit counter-intuitive but doesn't defy arithmetic.
