I needed them because my wife could not reach the regular chains, they have greatly improved their access to the lamp and the ability to turn off the lamp.

Ceiling poles fit me perfectly. They easily hooked up to existing circuitry on my ceiling fan and light fixture, so I could easily turn them on and off without having to stand on a chair or ladder.

I ordered these chain links to replace the defective one on my ceiling fan. They arrived quickly (I love Revain Prime!) and were easy to install to replace a broken bead chain. These chains are very long so you will need to cut them to the length you want. Overall I'm happy with the purchase and they seem reliable so far.

The quality is just as good you'd pay a few bucks if you bought them separately. I'm only 8 feet high, but I'm still 3 feet taller than me. The chains that come with ceiling fans are always out of my reach. Replacing the bottom of the chains with these gave me the few inches it took me to replace a fan or light without a step stool.
