This switch is so sleek I'm considering using it in place of the chain switches on my other fans. This is the best derailleur I have ever used. Great offer!

The fan broke the pull chain and instead of racking my brain I decided to try this one. Well, take it easy! He stretched out the wires and stuck them into the numbered groves. Perfect fit and now the fan spins again!

Attaching the wires was very difficult. The pressure clamp inside didn't catch the wires and it was difficult to thread the wires through the holes. But it's installed and working.

Connected one of the switches to the fan, the first click is good, but the second click the fan goes to a very low speed and the last click turns the fan off. Thus there are two non-working positions.

The old switch did not allow for a reasonable look or repair as it came apart at the seams when removed. With this replacement, you can simply write down the color/number of each wire you're disconnecting from the old switch, and then insert the end of the wire into the same-numbered slot on the new switch. And you're done.

Installed incorrectly at first due to having to guess connections due to lack of instructions and nothing on the switch itself. Well after removing the switch and testing it in a very bright light I found it very difficult to read, tan stripe on the tan rail on the switch. Again very difficult to see let alone read. I had to take a picture with my phone and zoom it in so I could track the connections, it's hard to see. Worked as expected after a proper reinstall.

Excellent value for money. The switch model number has replaced the old number. The design is slightly different_ the color coded wires are connected the same as the old style switch. Installation was easy. I personally covered the bare wire with light solder. Much better connection and easier insertion into the switch wire hole. I'm convinced it will be very difficult to insert bare wires into the holes (the locking tab in the hole is strong). It is designed to hold the wire in place, but…
