Efficient tool for precise cutting

Based on my experience, this hole saw is a game changer for cutting tasks. The CoPilot allows for easy and accurate drilling which saves time on the job. The durable build withstands heavy use in an Industrial and Scientific environment. The only downside is that it can be difficult to attach the saw to the drill.

Pros
  • Efficient, precise, durable
Cons
  • Difficult attachment

As described Suitable for hole saws and accessories

Nothing special, works as it should. You screw the smaller hole saw up onto it, then the larger face piece. However, it only works with concentric holes. Doesn't provide what you need if your hole is off-center.

Pros
  • For use with threaded mounts for hole saws of all types and makes
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Only works with small hole saws for an existing hole

Works well but too expensive for this length of metal rod thread On one End. The problem with this design is that the threaded section will only work with a 1/2"-20 hole saw mount and therefore will only work for 1-1/4" hole saws and smaller. For $22, you get very limited utility, so not a very good price. Better to buy a Bosch device.

Pros
  • Use an adapter nut to convert the thread count from 1/2-20 to 5/8-18 if needed
Cons
  • Very expensive
