These ceramic hinged lids are fantastic. It just slides out with a little effort. Just make sure they are installed in the correct position. They came with a button seal but I prefer a grommet seal so I removed the original (which is a quality product) and used my own. They work great.

Short story. I got a box of bottles and they came with a cheap flip top container. Making homemade Root Beer and Ginger Pineapple Ale. All the cheap attachments failed, I replaced them with these, they worked like clockwork, none broke under pressure. By the way: Thanks for the great caps! I'm very glad I came across her. Yes, they're more expensive, but it's worth avoiding Root Beer Volcano. I'm sure I'll be back!

Bought these to replace the cheap plastic caps that came with the Chef's Star bottles I've ordered from Revain. Although they are technically made for a different brand of bottle, they fit perfectly. The quality of these caps differs significantly from those made of plastic. The ceramic is nice and the silicone seal is great. It is durable and we are confident that the product will last. Will definitely be buying them again when we expand our bottling needs.
