I love coffee from the French Press and love the cute modern French Press. This one is smaller than I expected but great for 1 person to have a cup of coffee. You can see the size difference in the photo between the French Press and my Chemex. It is easy to clean and makes good coffee in a French press. The bonus is that it's really cute and feels like a special occasion when you use it.

I was attracted to this product by its chic looks and my love of wood/bamboo accents. My wife, the chef at our house, was delighted with the gift and is easily able to make two cups of coffee without any grounds thanks to the efficiency of the filter press. Easy to use, easy to clean, high quality filter, comfortable and we use it a lot now. Will probably buy another one for our family home in Florida when we go there.

To be honest I was a bit worried when I saw a review that said ceramics are breaking because I want to buy this french press for hot tea. But I really like this style! It's different from other presses, so I decided to give it a try. I've been using it for about a week now. Hot water is poured every day. There is no sign of cracks at all. And I can say that the quality is very good. I'll try to update the quality in a month if I remember lol. Highly recommended!

Cons: - The press isn't long enough so it doesn't really press down on your bases unless you use A LOT of bases (see image). There is always excess liquid at the bottom of the jug, which does not run out because it is under pressure. The spout is too small, so the liquid flows out very slowly.
