Attractive and functional. Unlike many spoon rests that are (understandably) shaped like a spoon, this version has a large flat base that can be used for other kitchen utensils like spatulas or 'pancake spatulas'. The surface is wide enough to accommodate most of the clutter. Durable, easy to care for and attractive without being noticeable.

More than we expected but it turned out well. My son ordered it for his dad's coffee spoon so he laughed when he saw how big it was compared to my old spoon stand. We swapped them and I use this one next to my stove for cooking and it's a lot better than the smaller one I used before.
