Cable Matters is generally a quality brand, and so I am reluctant to criticize them too much. This cable isn't quite engineered properly. Specifically, it does not securely snap in to the connector on my external LaCie drive nor on my laptop. The connectors on the cable is just a hair too short somewhere.
