Description of ๐ŸŒพ CERTIFIED ORGANIC UK Wool Roving - Ethically Sourced Fiber for Spinning, Felting, and More - 1 LB Bag, Natural White Combed Top

1 LB โ€” 100% UK WOOL ROVING โ€” CRUELTY-FREE - HYPOALLERGENIC - BIODEGRADABLE. WHY CHOOSE ORGANIC? Our sheep are raised on pesticide-free farms and their fiber is conscientiously processed. Happy, healthy sheep have the softest fleece!. PERFECT FOR MANY CRAFTS: Dyeing, spinning, needle felting, wet felting, or as a natural filling for toys, dolls, and pillows. Your safest choice for creating items for little ones. KIND TO SENSITIVE SKIN: Most commercially produced wool is passed through harsh chemical baths during processing. Some of these chemicals remain on the fiber, causing skin irritations. Many people mistakenly believe they are allergic to wool, when in fact they are sensitive to the chemicals used in processing. Our merino is processed safely without the use of toxic chemicals. ORGANIC CERTIFICATION by the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS) and the Institute for Marketology (IMO).

Very soft!

Bought to make dry balls to sell in my Etsy shop. It is incredibly soft and easy to work with. I have tried many different types of wool and this is by far my favourite. I will buy again once I run out!

Pros
  • Handmade
Cons
  • Can't remember

Perfect for baby basket Moses

Beautiful wool! I used this yarn to make the filling for my child's Moses basket, covered it with sheepskin and then a blanket wrapped tightly like a sheet. He likes it and started sleeping at night. We started with an organic wool pillow but it was thicker and I was afraid it might knock the basket over. Now I can put him in Moses' basket and I don't have to take care of him at all. The baby is happy, mom and dad are happy, more and more sleep, and I'm not worried about chemical exposureโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Wool Roving
Cons
  • Expensive

Ba, ba white sheep, thank you for your wool. ๐ŸŽผ

I'm new to this kind of shopping as I'm learning how to do wet felting and needle felting, so I was very careful when choosing. Part of the 'look closer' criterion for Flor was wool, which is certified organic and an ethical and responsible fiber. So I did more homework and finally settled on this yarn and I'm always glad I did! To be fair, and remember that I was a "newbie" to the art of wet felting and dry felting, I bought several small packs of similar yarns, which ended up in the "closer"โ€ฆ

Pros
  • Needle Felting Accessories
Cons
  • Slightly Wrinkled
