Easy to use and carry around

I used this as a card reader from my camera via USB-C of my iPad to share photos with friends. But the speed is not as high as described.

Fast little reader!

I am satisfied with the purchase, especially since one device has XQD and SD. I've used this on my iMac Pro direct and through the hub and it's nice and fast. It also works great with my iPad Pro! My only issue is the always connected USB-C cable. It would be nice if it could be replaced in case of damage.

It doesn't work

I've used it a few times but most of the time it didn't work properly. The drive disappeared the first time I put it in my laptop. I had to disconnect and reconnect it several times to see the hard drive on the laptop and copy the images to an external hard drive. I also found that it was very hot during the copying process.

Unreliable - Find another option

I don't like giving bad reviews but this card reader is very unreliable. Used this with a Windows 10 laptop which I use for business and photo editing. I had to insert the card into the USB port multiple times for the computer to see the reader at least once. Often he just didn't see him at all. Come back a few hours later and try again and he ends up seeing enough to load the photos onto the map. I have no idea why he would suddenly "see the reader". Tried with 3 different cards from 2…

Works great with my iPad Pro 2020. Just plug in and go!

It's SO easy, plug and play — it really is. I needed a card reader that works on my iPad Pro 2020 with a USB-C slot (IOS 14.6). Sometimes it's not that easy. If you also have an iPad, you know it. You just need to make sure you have the FILES app installed on your iPad first. If not, then in the App Store. It should come free with your iPad. It didn't work for me on Win10 64 - I recognized it, but I didn't transfer any files.

I hate leaving bad reviews and I don't know why it didn't work for me. I have a Canon R5 and a SanDisk Extreme PRO 128GB CF Express Card.
