Not even the best SATA cable

This product was shipped and installed in just a few seconds. I read that many people had serious problems with this adapter. I was playing GTA 5 during a busy afternoon session. I was amazed at the amazing quality my graphics card was producing. After about five or six hours of play, I saw a huge bright spark that scared me a bit. After that, the system would no longer turn on. The liquidation process has begun. As a result, the motherboard burned out. DO NOT BUY THIS! BUY A NEW POWER SUPPLYโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I vaguely remember

This has allowed me to use a much better graphics card than what my system was originally designed for. A simple adapter, but very well made. It's been up for a few months now and I really like the new graphics. It was a lot easier than replacing the entire PSU.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • No

perfect for my needs

Worked great to plug a high performance GPU into one of those Dell Optiplex (good CPUs and RAM but proprietary power supply >:( ), only on one of several SATA ports on the connected PSU and Boom got my GPU working It was a lot cheaper than buying a discrete GPU (note that your PSU must be able to power your GPU of choice in order for it to function properly)

Pros
  • Good build
Cons
  • Good but not great

The cable delivers exactly what it promises

This turns every free SATA socket on your power supply unit into an 8-pin PCIe power supply unit. I desperately needed it - and it allowed me to use a new graphics card that required "more power" than I was originally equipped with.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Operating speed

It works! He's doing his job. SATA to PCIE

What did I like about this product? It worked! This is an adapter for your graphics card that requires a PCIE power supply and your power supply does not have a PCIE cable. You simply use a SATA power cable and connect this adapter to it and your graphics card. That's all!

Pros
  • Free for Education
Cons
  • Other Other

Exactly what you need Acer TC-895!

My new 10th Gen Acer TC-895-UA91 i3 computer didn't have cables to connect anything other than a DVD drive with a second large SATA power connector to this cable, the I wanted to connect to Samsung 1TB 860 EVO included. Nothing to use to connect my ne GTX-1650 KO Ultra! But I had a SATA power splitter! So I got these to plug into the other side of it and now I'm rocking my GTX-1650 (albeit with just about enough power from a 300 watt computer power supply)! But this little adapter cable savedโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • I will add later

Buy this connector if you want to set your PC on fire

This connector is a death sentence for your PC. I'm sure other people will try this for their new graphics cards that require 3 6+2 connections, DO NOT do this. In the picture you can see my burnt SATA cable due to the failure of this part. I don't know yet if the manufacturer of my RMA card will be my burnt RTX 3080 or not, but this connector is 100% to blame for the fire. It was currently a $300 error, it could be a lot more if I don't get an RMA. DO NOT BUY THIS CABLE TO POWER RTX GRAPHICS.

Pros
  • Converts SATA to 8-pin PCI Express connector
Cons
  • Doubtful
