First pair of Chacos

I've been wearing Teva sandals for about a decade but lately I've been doing more things in and around the water than I used to. This brought out the real weakness of the Tevas (which really wasn't there with the first pair I owned). They are dangerous when wet. I feel like I'm on skates and that's why I switched to Chacos. I find them much better than Teva when wet. It turns out the Chacos have a much more durable outsole which I (personally) find more comfortable for hiking rough trails. With

I would give more stars if I could!

Chaco sandals have been my choice for 20 years - my only choice. They didn't disappoint - comfortable and durable! What I also like is that they are at least partially adjustable so I can tighten my grip around my leg. Chaco is better :)

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • A combination of factors

Too long and uneven straps.

I believe these are genuine chacosn but they appear to be defective due to quality control or seconds. I had to go back because the straps were too long and one was about half an inch longer. I would recommend just going to a reputable retailer like REI. I did and got the ones with the right length straps and a more attractive color for $20 more. It was worth it.

Pros
  • Sequins
Cons
  • Reliability
