I love these. I'm nervous about other people's reviews but I'm glad I got them. Like mules, they should be worn "loosely”. However, they should not be tied tightly. Perhaps the rear strap option can be tightened, but not this one. They are very comfortable and have a distinctive curved insole. They appear robust, just as Chacos should be. Just don't expect them to be as tight as classic sandals.
