👦 Chaco Odyssey Water Eclipse Boys' Sandals Review

We bought them for use at Disney World. These are now my son's favorite shoes. He is 5 years old and never said the shoes were comfortable. They are perfect for our water park days and everyday use.

This is a very durable shoe and I expect it to last the summer but for an 8 year old it's a beast. Elastic band around the front makes it difficult to put on the shoe without a shoehorn. Putting a shoehorn in the box would be a great help!

Bought it for our 7 year old daughter and it was a mistake. Terribly difficult to get through, even with my help. Very frustrating. Also, when used as some sort of "water" shoe, small rocks and pebbles can become trapped. I will never buy again

They are perfect, I made sure to trace my daughter's foot and ordered half a size up based on Chaco's sizing recommendations. They have some room to grow at the top, they fit the foot well, there are no spots on them that rub the foot. I know they are difficult to put on, but I have found that until they stretch you have to slide your foot all the way into the boot until the rear stiff part is behind the heel and then slide the mesh back over the heel have to pull. . It worked on the first try!

I wish I didn't have to put a star to give a review as these shoes appear to be well made - as long as they fit your child's foot shape. My son has wide feet and if possible I buy him a really wide shoe but for a 5 year old they are rare so for a lot of things we just go a size up from his current shoe size and it more or less works. The size is good, but it is difficult to stand on the foot, must have a dry foot and parents. Baby says "Very Comfortable" (once you put them on)!

I increased the size based on the reviews but my 8 year old had a hard time putting them on even when his feet were dry. I can only imagine how hard it would be if your feet were slightly damp. Returned it and got a nicer version of Merrell water shoes.

GREAT summer shoes for our boys (4 and 7 years old). Very durable and holds up well. Ideal for outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking and water sports. I love that they are very durable and the closed toe makes me feel better when running. Because the guys always find a way to get wet or find some mud to splash around in, they are great and cum really well.

omg they stink! I usually take regular Chaco strappy sandals for me and my son, but I decided to buy us both Odyssey shoes. The children's version, unlike the adults, has a completely closed heel and they also have no way of draining the water that gets into them. . It's a water shoe, so.?. Even if they are quickly removed and dried they stink, I contacted Chaco and they said to machine wash them and I will, but to be honest I don't see it going away.
