Good price and durable but fades in the sun

This ball is quite durable and looks well made but after 3 months outdoors the top half of the ball has faded noticeably and now looks a bit like an orange fizzy spoon .

Broke after 2 weeks

Bought for my daughter for her birthday. This lasted about two weeks before the hook that the rope was attached to came loose. My daughter wasn't that strict. We played ball with him.

Decayed in the first week.

This is a decent tetherball. We have a lot of fun with him. However, I am surprised that the cable has already faded so much in the first week in the yard. I think we should shoot it every day? I can't reach the top so it won't happen.

Good budget ball suitable for leisure, sports and playroom

Needs a needle blower (it deflates) and it doesn't hold pressure for more than two weeks. The cord stretches with use, but it's still a fun ball to play as a zip line or practice soccer when suspended from the ceiling (as long as there are no lighting fixtures within reach).

NOT SO GOOD Best in Sports and Playroom Lounge

I think if you bring it home every night it might last longer but I left it out last summer. I replaced these with another brand that I've had on the pole for 10+ dozen and it wasn't until last season that I had to replace them. It only lasted one season and I need another one. I won't buy this again.

  • Easy to use

It's a good deal for the price - it's strong and all that.

My tetherball obsessive son bought this ball with his pocket money to take to the schoolyard after work to play with friends. It's a good deal for the price - it's durable and the ball is still in great shape - but there are a few issues with it. First, this ball is HARD. Indeed very difficult! All the children complain that it hurts when they bang their hands on it, and at least one child has had to see a doctor because of a pinched finger after playing. It doesn't feel like hitting a rock or…

Rope damage, hard ball

Within 41 days of delivery and 4.5 weeks of installing this ball out in the Pacific Northwest I am already having problems. The main problem is that the rope that was used to hold the rope to the ball (which is pretty important) is already frayed on both ends, the end with the ball being the worst side. I have no idea how long this product will last, but my guess is a few more weeks before the ball flies off and hits an unsuspecting person. This should be easily remedied by purchasing better…

Have a good "Children's Confession " and get some exercise too!

OH MY GOD! My granddaughters love this ball. My own kids tell stories about the family playing tetherball and now we have a tetherball in the middle of the driveway (portable) so even the neighborhood kids come over to play. The ball comes with about 10 feet of rope that can be cut to the size you want. Some reviewers have commented that it's too stiff, but the solution is to simply inflate it a little less (softer) and the stiffness problem will go away! We bought a 1 1/2 inch electrical cord…
