I was expecting a heavier base material. Pretty thin plastic. The packaging it came in was pretty flimsy and shabby when I received it. The product was in good condition but not well protected. All in all I like it so far.

I think everything is fine. This is a "you get what you pay for" product. Nothing I would recommend, but nothing to warn against either. Adjust your expectations accordingly. The biggest problem people might have is the automatic ball return, which is actually a bunch of cheap plastic pieces that return the ball to you halfway through. I had to modify the product to allow the golf ball to roll from the water hazard onto the back lane.
