Plastic Band. I was hoping it was leather. It's probably fine for a young boy, but I could imagine it falling apart for anyone older. I've tried sending it back but it's not free shipping so don't spend more on shipping than I would get for a refund. We will keep it as a spare belt in case we need it.

Completely incorrect product information. The listing clearly says the straps are 1.5", they sent me 1.25". Also the length is only about 32 inches from end to end unless you stretch it further. I just bought 8 of these for the team and their first game is tomorrow. Now we're holding the wrong belts *Update: I see that the seller I bought from added a "Youth" or "Adult" option, but they are still sharing general sizing information that is not accurate.

We have used Champro belts for many years and have almost every color due to the different baseball teams our sons have played on. I like that these belts are of good quality, are elastic, don't wear out and the buckles don't rust if the belt gets so dirty that I have to wash it. They are adjustable with a sliding clip and stay set. One caveat: adult belts are too wide for youth uniform belt loops. Therefore, do not forget to order "adults" or "adolescents" in this sense.
