Ticking in the audio

Causes a constant ticking in the audio. Very disappointed. I decided to buy an Arlo 8' USB power cord and plug it into an extension cord.

Pros
  • Easy-to-read control panel
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Do not buy this product!

This cable only lasted 2 weeks and then started shorting out my Arlos security cameras. I lost my $85 camera because it shorted out. He was even connected to GFI. I checked the plug and it was not a plug. It was that cable. :(

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Appearance

Doesn't charge the battery.

The cable is good but does not charge the battery. It just seems like it might increase battery life a bit. I plugged the cable into the Arlo connector that came with the camera and it charged it, so it's obvious that the "Fast Charge" connector is defective.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

The connection point to the camera still leaves a point for water to enter the camera. Nothing is more unique than the $12.99 cable. If you see this and connect it to an Arlo Pro 2 camera, it doesn't cost $22 to worry about the camera's connection point.

Pros
  • A good thing
Cons
  • There are problems

Just doesn't work with Arlo Pro 2

Just didn't work with Arlo Pro 2. I had it bagged up and threading it through my attic for a few months and got an error message. Tried several ways to get it working; Different USB charger, different socket, I even removed the rubber seal from the connector on the side of the camera. No, still the error message. Stay away from this product.

Pros
  • Not only useful for it's intended purpose
Cons
  • Hard to remember, but it was

Exactly what I wanted for security and surveillance

After using my Arlo cameras for almost a year I wanted three improvements 1) didn't want to charge batteries anymore 2) just wanted still access the available features when a camera is connected and 3) the maximum video quality is required (if the optimal battery life was previously set). These power supplies gave me all of that. In addition, the boxes come with cable clips that allow you to neatly attach cables to whatever wall you attach them to.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Expensive

It didn't work with Arlo Pro

I bought a cable to run to the camera from home, but didn't have time to stretch the cable and try it for several weeks. The cable didn't work, I tried different chargers, different sockets, tried different cameras but it just didn't work. Unfortunately it is too late to return it, it was a waste of time and money. Update The problem was not with the cable but with the camera, the cable is fine and I am increasing my overall rating to 5 stars, it really is. what he should

Exactly what I wanted - accessories

After using my Arlo cameras for almost a year, I wanted three improvements: 1) didn't want to charge batteries anymore 2) wanted to access features that only are available when when a camera is connected and 3) wanted to maximize video quality (previously set for optimal battery life). These power supplies gave me all of that. In addition, the boxes come with cable clips that allow you to neatly attach cables to whatever wall you attach them to.

Pros
  • EASY INSTALLATION
Cons
  • Available in black only

Charges your Arlo camera so great but if you use it as a permanent solution you will have problems. You get excessive feedback when it's plugged in, and there's clicks and hiss every 3 seconds of video playback. After some checking, I found that this device overpowers the camera and causes a lot of feedback. Great for charging the battery, but use Factory Arlo if you plan to keep your device powered.

Pros
  • NEVER REPLACE ANOTHER BATTERY
Cons
  • High price
