Great for everyday carry with a single power adapter

Use this on my MBA work, ideal for my single power adapter to carry with my other devices everyday. Use it with a USB-C mono charger and it works like a charm. I'm not sure I'll feel safe using it on a higher powered MacBook.

Not worth it for computer accessories and peripherals

I didn't want to take the original charger as I already have a USBC charger. Only worked for 4 days and then stopped working completely. I tried different chargers, restarted my Macbook Air and nothing worked. Has stopped flashing neither orange nor green. Do not buy.

Pretty decent cable for the price

I had an 87w USB power adapter lying around, straight from Apple.com. Plug this cable into it and power my laptop Macbook Pro 15 2015 Magsafe 2. Dock 2 stars because the maximum power it can provide is 60w for the machine so I won't be my main cable; It's fine for what I do, but if you plan on taxing the machine it won't use the full 87W (or the max this laptop can use is 85W). Remember. Overall not bad for the price.

Works on Macbook Pro 15” Mid 2014

Works on my Mac, which is a miracle: I used to think it was impossible. However, the USB-C end very often loses contact with my power bank. I have to place my power supply on a flat surface so the contact is stable and try not to tug on the cable when I have a Mac on my lap. I could send it back for a replacement but I really need it to have it available at all times. Wait a minute so I just can't think of waiting for a replacement

Caution - Use lower power sources with this cable

This cable worked fine for about 6 months. I've only had large USB-C power adapters so the cable on the magsafe side was practically ruined. I've been keeping a close eye on this cable as it's unlikely that the power logic on the Mac and the charger will work entirely as intended. Better results would probably have been achieved with a smaller USB-C power adapter.

    Works as it should

Good upgrade cable for use with USB-C chargers, no complaints. Now you can easily carry this cable with you and charge both old and new MacBooks. Update 4-1-20 The cable is completely broken at the USB-C port. It was great while it worked. But now I'm stuck without a charger. I managed to contact the seller and they said they sent me a replacement, let's see how it holds up.

A few months with no problems!

The cable came in sturdy packaging and has held up since ordering earlier this year. Charges my 2016 MacBook Air model via a 100W Apple USBc adapter in no time (1-2 hours to a full charge after a full discharge) and powers the laptop on when needed and plugged in. Overall a very good cable!

    It works! USB cable

I have a 87w MacBook Pro charger and it worked with my 2015 MacBook Pro. Better than paying $80 for a Magsafe 2 charger. On my computer it only charges at 60W, in case that matters to anyone. I'll update my experience with it in a few months. I hope this doesn't eat my MacBook.

    Simplifies my charging system

This Rainsung USB C to Magnet T-Tip Adapter Cable has simplified my travel habits. Using this cable with the Anker Nano II USB C 65W Charger allows me to get rid of my bulky Apple charger and cables and save a lot of space in my briefcase. It charges my 2013 15" MacBook Pro with no issues or overheating. The cable seems solid and is a good length (about 6 feet). So far it's held up well. Cosmetically, it's a bit scary. The MagSafe connector is Apple Silver and the USB-C connector is Apple Space

    Do not be fooled! disappointing!

When I first saw this I thought WOW! It should be like this, to be sure, I ordered 2 so I have a backup because theoretically it's amazing. Then reality hit as I charged it up. :( it worked for about a day and then i noticed that it likes the charging light on the mac orange green then not charging so it starts from a stop. after observing it without moving my mac i decided that it was very unreliable and cannot be trusted for my upcoming business trip If I could post a video to show you I…

Works as expected with MacBook Pro Late 2015

I use this cable with MacBook Pro Late 2015. Hotrod in the sense that it has the fastest processor available from Apple at the time, hence higher power consumption . When using a 60W power adapter, the cable can charge at 60W when the MBP is in standby mode (or powered off). , or when the processor is mostly idle. When the processor reaches its maximum power consumption, the charge indicator changes from orange to green, indicating that charging has stopped. Note that disabling screen dimming…
