Shorted out and now doesn't work at all

The charger came to me shorted but I was reluctant to continue using it as a shorted charger is better than no charger. Also, the shorted chargers I've had before actually lasted a surprisingly long time. It broke a few weeks after purchase. I was just going through my orders again and decided I should post this review.
