Headset decent but mic is terrible

The headset sounds decent, I used it for FPS games such as warzone.I tried fiddling with it on the razer synapse app to hear more of footsteps.I was unsuccessful for the most part it’ll sound like a tin can or the people on my team wouldn’t be heard and you can’t adjust the game audio or chat audio on the headset it’s all in one.So the original audio sounds decent and i think it’s more suited for cinematic audio. For the mic, I don’t know if it’s my headset but it sounds horrible, it’s like a…

Pros
  • The 50mm drivers provide powerful and immersive sound quality, enhancing the overall gaming experience
Cons
  • Limited compatibility with non-gaming devices

Great sound, comfortable headset

I upgraded to this from a Razer Kraken that I had for years. This headset is very comfortable, and I love the volume knob on the side of the headset that allows me to adjust game volume on the fly without me needing to disrupt the game.

Pros
  • The Razer BlackShark V2 Gaming Headset comes with a 2-year warranty to ensure peace of mind
Cons
  • Limited bass and treble adjustment options

Don't get me wrong, this is a very solid headset and I'm pleased with my purchase. But I have a HyperX Cloud for my PS4 that cost me about 20 dollars less just 2 and a half years ago and the sound quality on that is about the same if not a little better.Being able to use this headset on my PC and PS4 interchangeably is huge for me though, especially since my gaming laptop's 3.5mm headphone jack doesn't support microphones, so having the USB sound card I can use instead is the only reason I'm…

Pros
  • Razer Inc.
Cons
  • No custom equalizer settings available

Pretty Good! good for me

I'm a fan of the volume nob being on the side of the headset, for starters. I wasn't ready to spend big money on headphones just yet and I was worried I had been too cheap with these as I waited for their arrival, but I've found these to be a worthy compromise. The sound is an improvement from previous headphones for music, and they seem good for games so far. I don't find myself removing them from heat or discomfort and they don't seem to emit too loud a frequency for the sound cancellation as

Pros
  • The detachable mic is convenient for players who don't always need voice communication and don't want it in the way of their gaming experience
Cons
  • Inadequate microphone sensitivity

Great sound, but there's issues

The headphones sound great, however, I'm by no means an audiophile. I got them on sale for about 75$ and would absolutely recommend them at that price!Pros:-Great sound! Competes with and honestly sounds better than the Arctis 7 (2019) headset-SUPER COMFORTABLE! These are so light there would be times I'd forget I was wearing them and try to walk off from my computer-My ears don't get very hot wearing these for long periods of gaming-Wearing these with glasses is still super comfortable, even…

Pros
  • Designed with compatibility in mind, the Razer BlackShark V2 Gaming Headset is compatible with a wide range of devices such as PC, PS4, PS5, Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series XS, and mobile phones

Can’t complain! best in my review

They sound pretty good. Not the best but they are not terrible expensive either so for the price they are pretty good… That's my review.

Pros
  • Video Games
Cons
  • Confusing buttons and controls

These sound and feel fine for the price point

I got these for working remotely, the goal was to give myself a more portable option that an XLR condenser mic with a separate USB audio interface and a scissor arm. Something I could tote around with a laptop. The Razer Blackshark V2 delivers. The audio quality on the mic is acceptable with the caveat that I spent hours in the Razer Synapse program tweaking the settings and trying to find some combination of options that I could live with. Now, I think I still sound VERY tinny compared to my…

Pros
  • 8.2 ounces
Cons
  • Inefficient customer service

Great Christmas Present !

I got my fiancé this pair of headphones because I know he likes to listen to his games and music. He’s been asking for over a year and it was well worth the wait. He was pleasantly surprised and was super excited to try them out, he says they’re amazing and enjoys using.

Pros
  • Works great on Warzone. I can clearly hear footsteps through walls and doors.
Cons
  • Cannot be used wirelessly

Not bad, but not great.

Its an ok headset other than the Mic that comes with it is terrible. The neck of it is covered with some non-flexible plastic so no matter what position you put the mic it just goes back to its original shape and I find myself having to constantly adjust it closer to my mouth. Based on that alone I would not recommend it.

Pros
  • 10.87 x 7.72 x 4.65 inches
Cons
  • Conflicting reviews and ratings from customers
