📸 2020 SDHC + USB Adapter Kit with 4GB Micro SD Card Compatible with DS, DSi, 2DS, 3DS Review

After 2021 this card will stop working as it has a "time bomb". When 2021 rolls around, the software will say it's useless. You can load your own kernel onto the card or you can be lazy like me and set the ds lite year to 2000 and wait 21 years until I get the dreaded message again. Might not work if you have a device connected to the internet, but it might as well. I do not know. Everything else works.

I bought a used DS Lite for my girl. Hooked this one up so there are fewer cards to carry and lose/damage. It is very easy to download ROMs connected to the included micro SD. Find out they already have it preloaded with some games and a bunch of great SNES games. It was a pleasant surprise. This card came in standard Revain packaging and I was happy that it required no configuration and I was able to plug it into my system to get it working. My only gripe and why this doesn't have a 5 star rating is that the USB MicroSD adapter wasn't recognized by my computer, so I'm assuming it didn't work. Since the device was already functional, this wasn't a big problem, just a minor inconvenience as I wanted to customize the content closer to my tastes.

Does what it should. I replaced the 4GB card with a brand new 32GB card as a precaution and then downloaded the RetroGameFan Multi Cart Update v7.06 software package (google it, you'll find it). I extracted the contents of the "R4i-SDHC YSMenu" folder to the root of a 32GB SD card after formatting it with the SD Format Tool that can be downloaded from sdcard.org.
