A great addition to any home.

A great addition to any home. It is not always necessary to search for a transformer unit. It is very convenient to be able to connect both USB and regular plugs. They are a bit more expensive if you don't use them often.

Excellent charging but no daisy chaining option

Charging works great. The outputs cannot be connected to daisy chain outputs. Only one screw for hot and neutral. There's also no way to connect power to the back of the outlet. The outlet is pretty busy.

First outage in less than a month.

A month later I plugged something into the USB port and it didn't work. I noticed that the green light is not lit. The outlet worked fine, but I never used the USB port on that particular outlet. So why has it already failed? What can I look forward to if this all goes wrong?
