This was a great gift, everything from the box to the watch and even the chain is of high quality, made with great care and attention to detail. The glass construction allows you to see the operation of the clock from both the front and the back. It's very durable and I'm sure it will last a lifetime.

I love this watch! When you pick up this watch, you can immediately see that it is a quality watch. My favorite part of this watch is the detailing on the inside of the back around the window to the gears. This is a detail that the manufacturer did not have to do, especially since it cannot be seen unless the back cover is opened. I also like the detailing at the top. Reminds me of an old mantel clock.

Nice watch, keeps time well but case is poorly made, hinges are weak causing the cover to dangle and the clasp won't hold after less than 2 hours. months in use. Watches over $100 should last longer. I have a $20 watch that I use for cosplay and it's the best quality. Can't return it because it's outside of Revain's return window. So be careful when buying items as gifts that may not be used for a while.
