    granddaughter loves her

    Ballet lessons are regularly followed by a jazz dance segment, and this shoe filled the bill. They make your feet sweat, just like their expensive ballet flats.

    Overpowering chemical odor

    The shoes smell so strongly of chemicals that I can't even keep them at home. You can literally smell them all over the room and when I tried to put them in the closet they made the whole closet smell so bad it gave me an instant headache. You will be returned. Anything that smells that strong/bad isn't good for bare skin either.

    Be sure to measure large and any strong chemical smell

    They are much larger than the usual size 2. My daughter wore 2 sizes from 2 other brands during the last theater season when they were at least 1/2 larger than each of them. The shoes also had a very strong chemical smell, it took her 3 days to air them out before trying them on.

    DO NOT BUY - THE BOTTOM MATERIAL IS SLIPPERS - THESE ARE NOT JAZZ SHOES!

    DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! The floor is NOT jazz shoes but some kind of fabric that makes them slippery. In third grade, my daughter was slipping and sliding everywhere, the dance teacher looked and said she had never seen shoes like this and they weren't ok. It's been over a month now and I can't get it back. NO MONEY AND DANGEROUS!

    Poorly made! to my rating.

    The soft sole is actually made up of 3 separate pieces sewn together. The pair I received had a large crest with the heel sewn to the mid fabric making them unwearable.

    Fell apart after wearing 15 times

    The leather sheath on the heel came loose after about 15-1 hours of dancing. It turns out the suede pads are sewn on to the heel and ball of the foot, but they're just glued on. I'll take it to the cobbler and hope they can easily reattach it. They were not worn outside on concrete etc., only used inside in the workshop. A pity!

    Great shoes for the price

    If your kid is not very serious about dancing, this is definitely the best choice for kids jazz shoes. They are inexpensive and very similar to the ones sold at my daughter's dance school and cost twice as much.

    Perfect for combination dancing

    These were perfect for my daughter's dance class and a lot cheaper than the jazz shoes the dance studio sold. I was going to take 2 to fit longer but got 1.5 because half sizes were the only ones that could ship with two day shipping. She wears 1-1.5 in regular shoes but they were very tight which I think is typical for dance shoes to prevent slipping. I also ordered 2.5 because she said they hurt her toes but her dance teacher suggested I use 1.5 because 2.5 was too big for her to dance well…
