So incredibly helpful!

I recently had a dog that had to be put on an antibiotic so strong that I had to have a urine test every 3 days for 2 weeks. This made things a lot easier and the vet was impressed with the little bottles I kept for her. My hands and feet stayed dry and I was able to take a fresh sample.

Great design and easy to use

Works great and makes collecting pet urine samples much easier and clearer. Good product and easy to use. My only concern is that I would like the cardboard packaging as the sample collection paper cups were crumpled in transit. They still worked but one of them leaked when I had to use it.

does what it should.

That's a great concept. It makes everything as easy as it gets, but when you have a nervous dog at the end of a leash in one hand and that in the other, it complicates things a bit. You don't get consumables, so if you need to collect urine frequently, you'll either have to buy more or get creative.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Unreliable

The rod worked perfectly! The cups were too big for my small dog. I placed the zippered sandwich bag inside the ring and folded the edges around the outside of the ring. I could easily slip a bag under my pup and collect a lot of urine without filling the bag to the point where it might come loose. I plan to have my husband bend the ring a bit to make it narrower and a little longer. The bar could have been a bit longer even though I'm 5ft 7" and getting down close to the ground worked well.

  • An absolute legend

Incredibly accurate and easy to use!

I really liked that this product is easy to use and very accurate! The actual "containers" that you need to collect the urine in are too big for my little female shihtzu, so I just used lids instead! They worked great! However, I have to admit I didn't have to use a rod for my girls but I will keep one to use for my Golden Retriever if needed. The results I received matched the results my vet received 2 days later. I will definitely use this product again if I suspect any problems in the…

What do sampling and Greek yogurt have in common?

Not much, but if you run out of collection cups, you can use a clean (and dry) Greek yogurt container as a last resort. And if you run out of shipping droppers/vials, you can use clean (very, very clean) and dry prescription bottles and seal them with a cap and clear tape around the bottle. That's how I've done it in the past with no problems. You can also buy sterile urine sample containers at the pharmacy. They're usually stocked behind the counter, so just ask your pharmacist. I think I paid
