Smaller than expected

Works great but definitely smaller than I expected. Designed to be placed in a mug for a cup of tea. I was looking for something to put in a pot on the stove to make large batches of tea at once!

Pros
  • Tea Strainers and Filters
Cons
  • Clarity

I loved and missed him so much that I made my decision.

This was purchased to replace the one I threw away when I moved. I can't remember where I bought my original, but it was definitely at a stone store. I loved it and missed it so much that I decided to buy it from Revain. The quality I received is inferior. The fabric sock is very thin. I'm sure this will work fine, but it's a bit disappointing. At least it's not made in China.

A little thin, holds up well.

First of all, I don't like the way the measurements are presented. It reads: 4.5 x 3.25. This is exactly IF you include the metal hook portion of the rim where the toe attaches. I think it's ok if you use this with a teapot (ceramic, porcelain etc) or real tea/coffee cup that comes with saucers or is in your crockery set. However, if you want to use it with a mug, you may run into trouble. We brew tons of different types of loose tea. In a cup with a large rim. These socks tend to hang…

Pros
  • Household and kitchen
Cons
  • Good but not great
