but overall it's a pretty cute little thing that kids love

If you don't buy these things, you'll never use up the included cookie dough recipe. Grating cookie dough and adding ice cream takes a while to get used to, but overall it's a pretty cute little thing that kids love.

Pros
  • Pretty
Cons
  • Almost never

Good product recipes could use a little help

So I would give this a 5 because it gave the kids something but definitely needs a better recipe for the outer biscuit and it's a bit difficult to work with . So I'll give it a 4. It's a pretty decent thing that some will love and some will use at some point. I think he just needs some decent recipes and combinations to give him a 5.

Pros
  • New to my collection
Cons
  • Little things

Dirty but fun! for small devices

Good. where to start I bought this for my son for Christmas. We had fun flouring each other (like good bakers do). The app itself was dirty. Wiping the dough out of the cracks is like wiping a kid's butt. The taste of the dough was too salty. The test amount was VERY MUCH.

Pros
  • Durable surface
Cons
  • Long waiting time

fun - recommend! - Kitchen & Dining

I received this item as a gift and was so excited I ordered it for my niece! . I used my own Devil's Food cake recipe for one serving. It was just that amount. "Cake" dried out a bit after baking, and this is normal. Once you put it in an ice cream mold and put it in the freezer, it turns out to be exactly that consistency. I haven't eaten an ice cream sandwich in years due to an allergy and was glad to eat it again!

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Protection

It works, fun little gadget!

I followed the directions and sprayed both cookie jars with cooking spray and I didn't have any sticky cookies. They were great. It was easy to disassemble and get the sandwiches out after about 2 hours in the freezer. The cookie recipe tastes good, but the yield is too high. It's like they think you're making 25 grand too much leftover dough! My dough has also become thinner than in the video. But overall it's a nice little gadget, glad I got it. Want to experiment with a vanilla cookie recipe

Fun but needs improvement

Like - enjoy! Dividing the batter into the oiled pans was a little tricky, but once we dabbed off the excess oil it became easier. The way he wraps ice cream sandwiches is perfect. The silicone is also easy to clean, which helps. If using this amount of batter, have multiple pans ready, not just one. We ended up making brownies with leftover batter because there was so much excess. It's like having to bake them, pop them in the fridge for 20 minutes (we only froze them for about 5 minutes), and
