The car seat is strong and very nice BUT it is damn heavy. I currently have an 8 pound baby and wearing a car seat plus my baby is quite uncomfortable. So yes, I recommend this car seat, but it's heavy.

This is the same car seat we ordered for our first child and we were so happy to order the same car seat for our second birth! We love this car seat. It's so functional. Cozy. Made from excellent material. I think it has great security features. Our firstborn is 18 months old and the car seat has adapted very well to our firstborn's growth! Highly recommended. The base is also a bonus. Makes everything so easy to use.

We love the way this car seat is made, its durability and the security we feel with our sweet boy sitting in it. The ONLY negative I can say about this seat is that it weighs about 20 pounds. I knew it had something to do with it, but since it will also fit in a child seat I wanted to make sure it was durable. It also gets really hot when inside, but luckily summer is almost over. Overall we love Chicco products and would buy them again anytime.

Such a beautiful car seat! If I had known this car seat existed, I would have bought it the first time! Haven't used it yet as the boy isn't here yet, but we've finished installing it! It was very easy. It's a little heavy, but that's to be expected as this car seat lasts well into toddlerhood. The material is soft, the child will feel very comfortable! They are also well protected if, heaven forbid, someone gets into an accident. It's worth every penny. Buy it!
