Smaller than expected. Poor workmanship, door hinges uneven, difficult to open and close. Still have to fry the chili and see how it's dosed. Will most likely return.

The idea came to me when I saw fried chili in HEB. I decided to try on prickly pear thorns instead of a regular burner. Works great, extremely efficient on propane and the time savings are immeasurable. Fantastic product!

This is a decently made basket and rotor assembly but the burners are just big holes in the gas supply line. The flame is yellow and saturated with soot due to improper oxygen mixing. I will try to modify mine with MIG welding tips to narrow the hole and allow more oxygen to burn. Turning the regulator on the gas line gives enough heat, it's just that the injectors need a lot of work.

The basket is great for frying chili but I think there is a flaw in the regulator design. I couldn't get the blue flame. The airflow regulator was located right next to the propane regulator. I think it would be better if the airflow regulator was placed at the other end of the hose, right next to the basket where the flame is created. With every other burner product, the air regulation is close to the flame. (e.g. Bunsen burner). I did like the basket though and use it on the heavy duty…
