THESE HOOKS ARE PERFECT IF YOU HAVE A GUTTER GUARD

THESE HOOKS ARE PERFECT IF YOU HAVE A GUTTER GUARD. HOWEVER, WE MODIFIED THEM TO MAKE A 90 DEGREE BEND IN THE PART THAT GOES INTO THE GUTTER, SO NO MATTER THE WIND (AND HERE IN NEBRASKA THE WIND CAN FREQUENTLY reach 50 mph) AND THEY WORK BEAUTIFULLY ! HAS KEEP MY LIGHTS IN A GOOD STRAIGHT LINE AND DURING THE WINDY WEATHER THEY NEVER GOED OUT OR EVER GO OUT! LOVE YOU, YOU WERE THE PERFECT SOLUTION.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Great gutter hooks with leaf protection

We recently installed new gutters with leaf protection in our house. We had old plastic clips that we had used for many years and found they wouldn't work with protective sleeves. These hooks were perfect and easily slid into the holes in the guards. They're actually pretty quick to install and you don't have to worry about them getting brittle and breaking like plastic. We have about 45 linear feet of gutters that we hang the lights from. Two bags were enough, there was still something left…

Pros
  • As before everything
Cons
  • not reliable

Great way to hang Christmas lights!

I always put up icicle garlands for the Christmas light show. This fall I installed perforated gutter guards to keep leaves out of the gutters. I racked my brains trying to figure out how to hang my icicles because my old brackets no longer worked with the gutter guards. Then I found them and they did the trick and are very easy to install. Once the filament is on the "hook" you can squeeze it so it fits snugly against the wires. This product saved my lighting design!

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • boring packaging

It makes hanging lights easy!

Wonderful product! So simple, but so ingenious! We have gutters so we couldn't use regular Christmas clips as there was no space between the clapboards. But this genius product saved the day! Very easy to use and works very well. Ordered the day before and received within 24 hours! Had the whole icicle house catch fire and worked for an hour. Could have saved 3 trips to Home Depot and 1 trip to Lowes if I had seen this sooner! I wonder why they don't sell this everywhere since gutter guards are

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • For pensioners

It just works best in storage and organization

Installed new gutter filters this year and was looking for a way to hang garlands for Christmas. I figured that for the price, even if they didn't work, I wouldn't fall far behind. They do what the company says they do. I wish they were a little thicker and stronger. However, the way they are made makes it easy to bend them to better fit the gutter and pinch them to hold the light. Complaints from other reviews that the wind just blew the light away because they didn't pinch the hanger to…

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Poor set

Do not work with the advertised gutter screens!

I bought these because they were advertised to work with gutter net guards (photo attached) that I had installed over my gutters. They don't work that way as you just have to slide them through the hole and tighten the wire around the light wire to hold them. Gutter guards don't have a through hole because they look like window guards, so I had to drill a small hole in the gutter guard to make them work. strong enough not to bend easily but it held the wire. I'm not sure if he's not getting out

Pros
  • Impressive
Cons
  • Very expensive

Better than nothing

1) To look inside the gutter cover you have to climb up the ladder to insert the metal into the hole in the cover. Otherwise, you'll have to tap blindly to get into the small hole. Luckily we live on a ranch. 2) They are difficult to align in the gutter holes to keep the headlights hanging straight. 3) They look like they will fit in a straight row and the flat top fits snugly against the edge of the gutter. They don't fit snugly, and so some protrude further forward than others. 4) Because…
