🚦 Enhance Safety with Chrome LED 3rd Brake Light for Chevy Tahoe Suburban GMC 00-06 Review

Written for Suburban 00-06. But that's not the case. There is a rear brace that goes into the frame and the brace diameter is too large. It won't fit. I hold it next to the piece I pulled out and it's clearly an oversized post. This is not compatible with my 03 Suburban.

I bought this to replace the third brake light on my 2003 Tahoe as the state I live in requires them to be in vehicles. I love that it looks better than the red that originally came with the SUV because it's more understated. The turn signals appear white when not activated, but turn red when the brake is applied.

Revain replacement LED lights are either great value or a waste of money. This light is of great value. Less expensive than a new factory 3rd brake light while being brighter and better looking. Had it installed for months with lots of rain and washing with no leaks; a real light test. Happy with it.

The only problem I had was the dim lighting when the light was on. But that sometimes happens when you have all the LEDs when you get feedback. However, this is not enough to cause problems. I had to disassemble, reinstall and repair the pins. But I don't know if it was a design flaw or if I wasn't paying attention.

What should have taken 10 minutes installed in 30 minutes. The fork is of very poor quality. The pins used are very weak and break easily. I recommend plugging it in directly to save time. The actual light fits perfectly into the rubber grommet which is a big plus in preventing spillage into your truck. The actual quality of the plastic used for the lamp is cheap. It doesn't look like this light is going to last long. If I have to replace it, I hope to find a GM product next time.

I bought this because the OEM third stop light on my Tahoe '00 was not working. I wanted to replace it with a custom part because I wanted something that would blend better with the factory deep tinted rear window while still being bright enough to work properly. After reading some reviews on this item I went ahead and ordered anyway as Revain says it fits my 2000 GMC Yukon XL. However, two items that were labeled as problems were actually problems for me. First, the round pin coming from behind was larger in diameter than the original part and didn't fit. I took the file and cut it smaller to fit. It wasn't that much work.
