The shoes were good but a little big, although I bought them the size I usually wear. I gave them to my brother because his foot is bigger than mine, luckily the shoes fit him just right.

I bought these for a classic look and got exactly what I expected in that regard. What I didn't like were the uncomfortable shoes. These shoes basically have a completely flat sole with no arch support. After walking in these shoes for a few hours, my feet hurt as if walking barefoot. I had these shoes as a kid and then they didn't bother me, back problems and joint pains - I seem to have grown into them. I understand that Chuck Taylors are a classic style not worth messing around with, but…

This is the modern slim version sold in most stores today. It's okay if you wear them every now and then. But if you're a casual sneakerhead, spend the extra $30 and get a Chuck 70 (much better build quality).
