📿 Chums 20mm Wide Watch Band Review

This is my fourth The Band in 8 years. Robust, durable, sporty and functional. a little petty for me as it would be hard to imagine a product being sold at this price point that would not wear out with being opened and closed 1-2 times a day for a year. I never had this problem with my first three, but this one ended up with a burnt nylon edge, sharp and scratchy, started chafing my wrist. I had to cut the end to make it softer but I'm afraid it will start to wear out.

I use this watch as a "work watch" so it is constantly exposed to water or grease/paint etc. I constantly had trouble finding a Velcro strap big enough for my wrist. The reviews didn't say how well the bracelet fits large wrists and I was pleasantly surprised when I put it on! The strap has a wide/thick section that wraps around the wrist and then attaches with a thinner velcro. Very comfortable and this watch/bracelet will not leave my wrist until I take it off! At first I kinda hated this band, it's stupid to put it "right" on your wrist. I like velcro. I installed it about 3 days ago. A huge gap in the line with the "THE BAND" logo. Now I really hate this group. This is a CRITICAL ERROR. The logo keeps the Velcro attached to the strap, and the logo acts as a sort of "cover". My cute Seiko diver's watch floats free from my wrist into the depths. I was lucky to discover this on land, not in the sea! I've asked for a replacement as I need a new groupset

I bought the strap knowing my watch needed 22mm but still decided to use it in case I wanted to swap out my Nixon Mission for a different dial. In my opinion the best option for your money. Due to my daily activities I am looking at a few groups and this group seems to me to be the most promising. And you don't have to take out the pins if your watch already has them.
