Better for little paws.

The concept is great. Design can use help. The touchpad is concave. He will ring the bell when the dog safely hits it. Small paws will do. Big paws have a problem. The concave design allows the dog to feel the cushion without making any noise. Note: My bell is on the floor for my dog to step on.

Works great in doorbells

To be honest this is an amazing product. for my dog. I think she trains us. She knew very quickly that she had to ring the bell to go outside, but she also knew that if she rang the bell I would go downstairs. even if the door is open. She will also keep ringing the doorbell, then looking at me and ringing again when my husband is outside and I don't let her go outside. It's cute and helps her communicate, but now she has a lot more power.

What I need in a doorbell

This thing is amazing! Doesn't require much pressure at all and the volume on the receiver is great. I've been letting my pup use pads around the house for too long so I got these to warn me when he needs to go outside. I have a very stubborn husky so if he learns to deal with it in a few days then your dog will have hope! Rschunimagu. Just be careful how you train them because at first he thought I should bring him a treat every time he called. Rschunimagu

Awesome, except. in doorbells

Works great and my smart pup took to it straight away. The only thing I HATE is that the tune he plays doesn't change. It has various other songs/melodies on it and I can scroll through them, but it doesn't stay tuned to an alternative tune. So I'm hooked on a tune my husband listens to at work all day that drives him crazy. Otherwise it's perfect! No scratches on pot doors! We placed it at nose level, one inside and one outside so she could let us know when she wanted to go back inside. love…

Not for all dogs, at least not for this brand

I bought 2 of these because my dog sometimes stays with my friend. I have another brand here in my bedroom but I wanted to use it in the kitchen. So I put them in the kitchen. He learned very quickly (on the first day) to use the ones in my bedroom. He already knew the touch command. HOWEVER, this brand is not that sensitive and after touching the device about 15 times, it refused. He weighs about 20 pounds, and unless his nails are tucked away so the pad is touching the device, it doesn't…

Doesn't really work and isn't big enough for my lab.

This product is not bad at best. My 2-year-old labrador quickly got the idea to "touch" him, but the sensor is either not sensitive enough or is defective. The call is NOT a button that you can push or press, but a sensor that you have to touch or swipe. He can touch it and the bell only works 2 times out of 10. He gets frustrated and gives up because he touches it 3 or 4 times in a row with no sound. The call is also small, smaller than the size of your Palm. It was difficult for him to learn…

Use your nose, not your paw: works great

My dog is smart but unfocused and a puppy. I tried to teach her to feel it but she just raised her paw but couldn't mentally connect to the button. So I slathered it with some peanut butter and started sticking my nose at it. Every time I opened the door, I rang the bell, if only for myself. I let her go every time she ran it. I would poke her nose in her every time she wanted out or I wanted her to go out or in. Licking or pinching the nose will make this happen more easily. Outside, the cold…

  • Some little things

I bought these for my Great Dane and like magic it only took me a few days to teach her how to use them. They are very easy to install and just as easy to train your pet. Touch is very sensitive, so it's MUCH easier for your dog to learn the process. You simply approach one of the three touch buttons and touch it with your nose. Our dog will bite the button and its tongue, nose, mouth or whatever is touching it. Rschunimagu. It's VERY durable, like I said, she bites into it to tell us and…

The dog hasn't figured it out yet

I potted my dog with real bells, screwed a quill to the wall and attached the fishing bells to the end and he bent over so quickly that when he needed something he just rang the bell. I have since moved and got this as a replacement for the wind chimes. I like that it's loud (you can control the volume) and you can choose the sound you want. The goal is to put one outside as well so she can call instead of having to jump through the door to get in. I tried to make her understand that she has to
