No 15 amp plug on spares

I tried using this as it said I was a 15 amp plug but saw the gauge of the cord and tried and failed test with only 13 amps. Not a bad connection for the device.

Don't buy this from spares

After using it for a day or two I had to use a tape to stop it. Totally wasted money. And 12v does not output. After about 2 weeks of use it stopped working.

Not as described: lighting and electrical

It was hard to find a switch rated more than 5 amps. I plugged this in and turned the device on at 8 amps and it stopped after 30 seconds. I checked the fuse and it was a 5 amp fuse that had blown and the plastic around it had melted. It is described as a 10 amp switch.

Incredibly bad cable

Does what it's supposed to. Unfortunately, the real copper wire in the cable is just a few strands. This means several things: It is very difficult to connect, splice or scrape the plastic cover. It will break if you try to crimp. Also, it won't run more than a few amps. Luckily I have 0.5 amp LEDs, but if you're trying to run something substantial there won't be a happy ending.
