Great cable and less signal loss.

This RG 11 cable is great for long cables as it causes less signal loss. Keep in mind that the RG-11 cable is slightly larger in diameter than the RG-6 and is slightly stiffer to maneuver. Leave the cord outside for ease of use. Great product and very fast delivery. Yes I would buy this again. FIVE STARS ***** +Mike B

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • Requires an outlet

Great but RG6 worked better in my case

I bought this to replace cables I made myself from RG6 Quad Shield for HDTV signals. In my case it worked worse than RG6. I noticed that this cable has an aluminum colored core while my RG6 QS has a copper core so I don't know if that is the cause or the frequency. All I can tell you is that I switched back to RG6 and the signal increased a bit.

"Made in USA " under "Cables and Connections "

"Made in USA" used to mean something, this cable has a protruding conductor on one end and not on the other, which doesn't provide continuity the application I used this for. Also bad bending at the non-conductive end exposing a jagged braid. When you pay for quality cables you expect them to go through a certain quality control process, obviously this company doesn't care and just wants to push everything they can through the door.

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Trade-in opportunity

I was planning to use this for an outdoor antenna but was unable to use this RG11 due to its stiffness and inability to get around the outer corners. To cut corners, you need a large radius, ie 90 degrees or less or more. Check the formula for the maximum bend radius of a coaxial cable. It's a great build and the hardware is the best I've used in terms of durability and water resistance.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • No automatic

No full copper inner conductor.

I am an RF transmitter installer. I got this to put myself in dire straits before ordering a roll of goodies. Well, as long as I don't use it for a long time, I think it's ok. I can't return it as I cut off the end to enlarge the wall grommet for installation. It's a good thing I didn't order a coil here. I will never buy again. Note to other sellers. Specify whether it is solid copper or copper cladding. Be honest. It's not in the notes "Oh yeah. It's solid"

Pros
  • Robust design
Cons
  • Protection

Absolutely great coaxial cable!

My previous coaxial cable was installed over 20 years ago and I did not receive some of the main channels until recently. I ran a cable from the basement to a vacant room on the 2nd floor through a vent pipe, connected it to the input cable and then to the Spectrum cable modem, now I'm getting clear reception of channels I didn't receive before. I need the cable company to replace the external cable from the street to the house and then I will be sure that my cable and internet speed will…

Impressive USA product!

I have just returned a spool of RG6 coax cable to Revain that I ordered for connection to CATV in RV's. It was made in China and assembled incorrectly, resulting in the connector nut being wedged on one end and unable to rotate freely. I decided to pay extra and try this RG11 cable - after all, RG11 is larger in cross-section and the signal is less attenuated. I just opened the package - wow! The male compression fittings on either end of this strong, durable cable are the highest quality I've…

Suitable for 75-100 feet and more trunk cable to outdoor TV antenna.

I ran 75-100 feet of quad shielded RG-6 cable to my tree mounted TV antenna. The signal display on the digital television showed 3-5 out of 10 divisions of the possible signal level. When using this RG-11 coaxial cable instead of RG-6, the signal stabilized to stable 5 divisions. Bottom Line: If you're experiencing jittery 1-2 bars on your TV's reception indicator, this 75-100+ foot RG-11 solid core coaxial cable will most likely stabilize the signal. But don't expect a dramatic improvement in…
