This CIPA 180 mirror is a must have for anyone doing watersports behind their boat. The rubberized base clip holds securely to the windshield frame. The lever lock allows for quick and easy adjustment before the transom folds in when you cover the boat.

Why miss half the entertainment behind the boat? With this mirror you can see them all. The clamping system is solid and the locking mechanism for raising and lowering works well. The B-pillar is high enough that the mirror doesn't interfere with my direct view. The only downside is image minimization.

This mirror is great but the mount will not fit the windshield on my 2017 Chaparral 21 H2O Sport. There's an extra rubber insert, but I still can't get the mirror clip tight enough that the mount and mirror don't bounce around when I move. The whole installation is heavy and will bend the boat's window trim. I go back and look for another mirror. Disappointed because the mirror itself is excellent.

I love the mirror. It looks great on my boat and gives a great view of everything behind and around us. I have a problem. I suspect that the mirror got a little warm because part of the mirror fell off. I think I was expecting the nearly $200 mirror to be attached to the base with something other than double-sided tape. I reassembled it but I'll probably have to find a better way to attach the back of the mirror to the base.

I love the mirror. Large size, excellent field of view, we will build. The fasteners did not match my windshield very well, the profile of the rubber parts was loose. (97 Reinell) I cut a few pieces of rubber fuel line tubing and attached them where they were loose. After that, it became solid and did not vibrate during movement. I called CIPA about the loose fasteners and they sent me some thick pieces of neoprene to replace the fuel line hose. I would buy this again.
