Butter Dish No Butter - Butter Dish

This is a glass container. If you're using butter as a butter dish, it will hold half a pound of butter, not a 1/4 pound cube of butter like most butter cups! More like a refrigerated container. Very disappointed as I wanted and thought I'd buy a DISH WITH BUTTER! It's too big, like a bowl of butter!

Treat your crockery and service with care

needed for thicker Irish butter sticks and large produce but it's difficult to get around to handle selection. The design could have been much better if the upper had a firmer grip. There's really very little burr on the bottom to hold the top when you move it, so you really need to hold the top and bottom at the same time.

Works best when used upside down

When I first received this oil can I forgot how it was shown in the photos in the listing and not having much experience with oil cans I started using it right upside down – to keep the oil in the lid (e.g. bowl) and use the bottom as a lid. I actually like it better. Realizing I was using it upside down I tried the other way and found the lid too slippery when I had the least oil on my fingers. Flip it back and I've been using it upside down ever since. I love it.
