Easy to use, good for computers and accessories

I needed a simple way to switch monitor, keyboard and mouse between home and work computers. My friend recommended it to me and I wanted to try it. Connected in 5 minutes. It works exactly as described. Plugged it in, turned on each computer and pressed a button to switch back and forth. It was so easy to use.

Pros
  • Always liked
Cons
  • Style 90

Not working 4096x2160@60hz

I have a true 4k monitor (LG31MU97) running at 4096x2160@60hz and I was hoping I could switch with it but the monitor is getting only black/no signal. If I resize it to 3840 x 2160 it works, or if I reduce it to 50Hz. It doesn't seem to do the full DP 1.2. I like the remote switch, but the display ports don't seem to support true 4k.

  • Best
Cons
  • Long time

I like it! on Computer Components

Definitely not my first KVM. I have been using them personally and professionally for many years. One thing that bothers me about KVM is the poor placement of cable connections and user functions. KVMs often come with the ability to connect to a computer from two or three sides, making cable management a breeze. With this KVM, all connections to the computer are on the back, the buttons for operation are on the front. Imagine! ;) Flawless work and I haven't encountered any quirks that may…

Pros
  • Compact DP KVM switch with KVM cables for controlling up to four computers with one keyboard, one monitor and one mouse.
Cons
  • Long delivery time

This review relates to ckla 2 port (2nd breakout box) This box does not exist! I repeat it doesn't support DP1.2 as stated here, the difference is that since it only supports DP1.0 you only get a 4K image at 30Hz. In this case I don't see the point of paying much more to use a DP over HDMI connection. Any other KVM switch that only uses the HDMI interface will give you the same picture specifications, 4K at 30Hz, and cost you less than half what this Clau device costs. Sellers are not honest in

Pros
  • DisplayPort Version 1.2 DisplayPort 4K@60Hz KVM Switch. Supports 16:9 widescreen monitors and 21:9 ultrawide monitors.
Cons
  • No instructions

Not working 4096 x 2160 @ 60Hz

I have a real 4k monitor (LG31MU97) with a resolution of 4096x2160 @ 60Hz and was hoping I could switch with that but the monitor just sees black/no signal. If I resize it to 3840 x 2160 it works, or if I reduce it to 50Hz. It doesn't seem to do the full DP 1.2. I like the remote switch, but the display ports don't seem to support true 4k.

Pros
  • Switching the computer using the remote button or the manual button. Operating systems - Windows 10/7/2000/XP/Vista, Mac, Linux, UNIX, Debian, Fedora, Raspbian, Ubuntu and other systems
Cons
  • Almost everything is fine
