Clairol Age Defy Permanent Hair Dye Review: 6G Light Golden Brown Hair Color Review

I had bad results after using this product. I followed the instructions exactly. I had uneven coloring. The gray finish wasn't very good. I have dark brown hair and I usually use ash brown. It left an orange tint in my hair rather than a cool brown. My hair fell out a lot after the first coloring. I used the conditioner again and felt the hair fall out again but not as much as the first time.

I have been dying my hair for many years and mostly use the same brand. I found I couldn't find a color I liked to cover some gray hair. I love that it doesn't have a strong smell! It was very easy to use and the color choices were amazing! I finally found my favorite color! This is now my way!

I've been using Clairol Nice 'n Easy hair dye for many years and lately I've been having problems. It becomes very light brown on top and very dark towards the ends. This is the best box of dyes I've ever used and I've tried them all! Doesn't fade like most and lasts longer than if I pay $70 to have it done professionally! The photo was taken a month after painting and it's still as dark brown as it was when I painted it. It usually starts to fade after a week or so, on other brands and when I go to the salon. I will definitely buy this again!

I have always used regular Clairol 6G and have always been very happy with it. So thought I'd give it a try since I'm well into my 50s and have a hard time hiding my gray hair. Well I will never buy it again, it doesn't cover the gray hair at all, in fact the original Clairol 6G is superior to this one.
