Clairol Professional COLOR Permanent Nightfall Review

I have been coloring my hair for 30 years and this is one of the best products I have tried. I used it with TRUE COLOR developer and it completely covered my gray hair. Also durable. I didn't see gray hair until the roots had to be tinted. A good product.

I received red clay dye. I wanted a more natural red and this was perfect. I used 10 volume conditioner on already bleached hair. Brown hair only gets a tint and black hair I don't know but I think it gets a light tint too. The first photo is outside, the second inside. As you can see, it manifests in the same way. It's a nice maroon, auburn color if that's what you're looking for.

This is by far the most natural red hair color I've ever used! I'm a natural redhead and I've noticed that my natural hair color tends to fade with age. My hair has never looked better after using this color! I like this color even better than my natural color

It's ok but I'm seeing some pinkish purple hues...although it will probably go away in the next few days. This is colored quartz 10 CB. Also, my hair was already blonde and it's definitely not level 10. I used it to get rid of gray roots.

I use this 8n True Color with 10 vol. Peroxide to lighten my 4n natural color to 7n lighter. I apply, use a sachet, dry under a cap for 25 minutes. then sit down, turn off the dryer, but sit another 20 minutes, rinse off and tidy up. This works better for me than lifting and then toning. To get a natural light brunette color 7n I didn't have to tone. I use this as a low light as I use 10V and 10A paint on my 30 vol crown. the same drying time. I would recommend this product.

This is a great color and as for the smell someone wrote about I disagree with that comment. I turned on the fan and the smell was ok not strong and the gray coverage is great. The best hair color I've ever used. I did exactly what the directions said, applied it to the roots, pulled down about 3-4 inches, after 20 minutes pulled down to the tips, waited 10 minutes and it worked great.
