CLARKS Atticus Loafer Black Leather Review

I love these loafers! I wear a size 9 and although I could benefit from a shoehorn I don't have I managed to put them on. 2 days of slight discomfort but on the 3rd day these shoes broke. I wear them as work shoes. I love that they can be worn as a smart/casual look. My first pair of Clark shoes but not the last!

The shoes are very comfortable, fitting but not tight. They shrink very easily and look great with slacks or khakis. Very happy with the purchase.

Bought my normal size, fits very well. Very difficult to break. Strange, when I take out the insoles, they are too big, but initially too snug with them. Much better now that I broke them.

I tried this new Clarks style myself and was amazed by the look and quality I have come to expect from Clarks. As I have aged my legs have changed and finding the perfect fit can be difficult and the sizing here was accurate but it was snug on my right leg to the point where my first reaction was to bring it back . If you have problems with bursitis or gout, this may not be a good choice. Tried them on again today and after 20 minutes of wearing them, they fit really well. The only complaint is

Painful landing if you have a wide foot. I need to replace the insole but it's still not that bad. These are heavy shoes and not for everyday use.
