The upper (that touches the sole of the foot) is made of rubber. So being in a warm, humid environment will not make you comfortable unless you are willing to put up with exclusion. wear socks.

I sent them to Australia for my big footed son. He couldn't get them in Australia. He loves them and they fit perfectly. He says they're really comfortable.

For some reason these sandals made both my feet bleed for the first kilometer. Skin torn off in several places. I tried all sorts of adjustments and still crashed into my legs. Waited a few months, tried again. painful failure.

These are beautiful leather sandals that are very comfortable to wear. Even though I have narrow feet, they are adjustable enough to fit perfectly. The only thing you might not like is that the surface on which the foot rests is rubber, although it is a pleasure to walk on.

No complaints. Comfortable and seems durable. I would give it 5 stars but I haven't had a chance to really smash them and see how they hold up.
