👞 Premium Craftsmanship: Clarks Men's Forge Loafer in Genuine Leather Review

I've worn Clark's shoes since I bought my first pair of Bullhies decades ago. All of Clark's shoes were great! However, this pair of Forge Free Loafers was a huge disappointment. I thought I could learn to walk in it differently; it just shouldn't have happened. I will be donating them as I am way past the time that I could give them back.

I expected the shoes to be both comfortable and beautiful. But that's not the case. The finish seems to be of poor quality, the color and appearance change with use, as if the leather is too dry (too old, not properly stored. On the other hand, the back of the shoe (in contact with the heel) is very hard, it hurts and hurts to wear.I put band-aids on for relief but these are not the shoes I paid for.

I ordered them to buy a pair of casual shoes without laces for driving, short walks, etc. When the price dropped to a sell-off, I bit. They arrived this morning and although they are very pretty shoes (I usually LOVE Clarkes) I excitedly opened the box and my heart sank.
