Stylish and Comfortable: Clarks Men's Forge Loafer Leather Shoes – Perfect Loafers & Slip-Ons for Men Review

I usually wear size 12 but I ordered 11 1/2; Luckily I read the sizing reviews before ordering. They are about 1/2 size bigger. Otherwise great shoe, looks good and is comfortable. The balls of my feet hurt at first, but now that I've worn them for a week and broken them in, they're comfortable.

I was expecting a comfortable pair of shoes, and even a nice one. But that's not the case. The workmanship appears to be of poor quality, the color and appearance change with use, as if the leather is too dry (old, improperly stored). On the other hand, the back of the shoe (in contact with the heel) is very hard , then painful and painful to wear. I put a band aid on for relief but these are not the shoes I paid for.

I ordered them to buy casual shoes without laces for driving, taking short walks, etc. When the price dropped to a sell-out price I took a bite. They arrived this morning and although they are very pretty shoes (I usually LOVE Clarkes) I excitedly opened the box and my heart sank. I ordered a size 11 but these shoes are at least a size 12 or 12.5 long! The width is perfect, but an extra inch or more above the toe box made my feet look like I was wearing clown shoes! These shoes are great. Comfortable and perfect size. I bought these for my husband and he was thinking of returning them when they arrived with some wear and some dirt on the soles. They've obviously been worn before. But we decided that after he abused her for a day, they would look just as good. He praises these shoes.

Nice looking shoes but: I usually buy a size 12 and make it but it was too big then I went for 11 1/2 too big and next try will be 11 and me hope it works .

A little more than I expected. But a pair of comfortable gel pads (which I always buy anyway) solves this problem immediately. Super light, soft and comfortable. Highly recommended!

I've worn Clark's since I bought my first pair of Bullhies decades ago. All of Clark's shoes were great! However, this pair of Forge Free Loafers was a huge disappointment. I thought I could learn to walk in it differently; it just shouldn't have happened. I will be donating them as I am way past the time that I could give them back.

Other reviews were correct. Order half a size smaller than your usual size. I'm 10 and ordered a 9 1/2 and they fit perfectly. 10 would definitely be too much. The shoes are both very comfortable and look great. I wear them without socks and they are still very comfortable. I have had many Clarks shoes and have always been amazed by the comfort and style you get in Clarks.
