I didn't know we had to wait about 2 days for the egg to hatch and dino to grow. Too much for a 3 year old. But he enjoyed watching them hatch. Dino breaks easily after waxing. I would recommend it for children aged 3+.

The photos show a toy dinosaur hatched from an egg. In fact, the eggshell broke off because the egg-shaped dinosaur slowly expanded when submerged in water. The toy dinosaur still retains the shape of an egg, and when it comes out of the water it will shrink back to its original size.

I placed ours in an airtight glass jar. It was a lot of fun watching him hatch for a few days. But in the end, when I opened the jar, my kid and I were greeted with a strong chemical smell of permanent marker. Dino was also slimy and felt like a chemical residue. We threw it away and washed our hands twice.

My kid caught them looking for gifts within my budget. The delivery was quick and the packaging was great. I can't wait for my kids to open them on Christmas morning. The great thing is that everything is safe and you can do it yourself so my 6 year old can harm my 3 year old. It will be great to watch!
