It's a pretty good bag but has a short lifespan

I'm in college and use this bag every day. On average, it contains: a water bottle, a 2" binder, 2 thin paperback textbooks OR a large hardcover textbook, a lightweight laptop, and a charger. I don't think it weighs much, but apparently it's too much for a book bag. The seams at the junctions of the straps begin to tear and the material on the top of the bag begins to tear. The bag is good but not durable.

Pros
  • * Adjustable and padded ergonomic shoulder straps,
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Nice little backpack but low quality

It has lasted well over a month of daily use by a college student with a 13" laptop and charger, 3 subject notebooks and 1 small textbook. Now, 2 months later, the loop on the top has come loose and the shoulder straps are about to run out. My last backpack cost $60 and lasted 8 years. I still give this backpack 3 stars because it was so cheap and could be repaired with a needle and thread. It's quite comfortable to wear. Other reviews complain that it smells like rubber, the smell went away…

Pros
  • * Classic simple backpack with handle for easy carrying.
Cons
  • Approximately

Spend $5 or $6 more and get a better one or literally do without

The ribbons hang on several threads. The tassels on the zippers immediately began to tear. That being said, all of the fabric itself appears to be of decent canvas quality (how?). I just wouldn't put anything heavy in it if you plan on wearing it with straps. I had a clever friend who reinforced the stitching on the straps and made me new tassels. Now it does its job, but it doesn't. It's also too tuned to be thrown away at the moment. If you want a cheap plain white book bag I wouldn't buy…

Pros
  • * Dual zippered main compartment, front zippered pocket and organizer.
Cons
  • sad packaging
