As expected the best halogen bulbs

No problem as long as each bulb was packaged separately and I love that each bulb is listed with its wattage on the packaging so I don't get confused with others light bulbs

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than others

Questionable ROI: Halogen bulbs

They are quite cheap but don't last long. Sometimes the pins fall out when you try to swap them out. However, they were relatively cheap. I did not compare with more expensive lamps.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Some small things

Did not work with halogen bulbs

Bulbs conformed to advertised specifications and appeared identical to those which had burned out after about 8 years of use but did not work when fitted. Exchanged the first set, the second didn't work either. Returned for the second time.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Volume

Works but strange packaging

The packaging is questionable but the product works. for now. The bulbs arrived in 1 small box. They arrived all together and scattered in 1 box. As these are halogen bulbs I doubt they have been touched and will burn out quickly so I tried not to touch them myself and used gloves. After about a month in the oven they still work.

Pros
  • Glass
Cons
  • Out of style

Won't be long! May be a fire hazard

Updated 7-17. Went 3 more and when I plugged in one of the spare plugs it looked very dim and after five minutes I could smell the smell of burning see pics but I would be concerned these bulbs are a fire hazard 4 burned out in less than a month! Unfortunately, these are not quality lamps.

Pros
  • Available in a variety of wattages from 5W to 50W
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other picks

Bought to replace a burned out bulb in a fixture I've had for decades. It should be noted that I have always read that halogen bulbs can be attacked by the oil in your hands, which can lead to premature bulb failure, which is why I used cotton gloves when fitting replacements. That works fine. I know some reviewers had issues, but I don't know if they replaced the bulb with their bare hands. Just something to note.

Pros
  • Gives warm white light for classic lighting
Cons
  • Discontinued model
