Durable, works well on sponges

I was hesitant to try "reusable kitchen towels" but I'm happy with it and hardly ever use paper towels. They're like a very thin sponge, so they're not too wet to wipe down a counter or stovetop, yet durable enough to be used over and over again. After using one, we rinse it, wring out the excess water, and hang it on the edge of the sink (or divider in a double sink) and they don't smell—like a sponge sometimes smells when left with too much water will in.

Pros
  • A dream come true
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Efficient, stylish and downright smart

My friend and I have tried to incorporate as many reusable items as possible to reduce waste and save money. With these nifty little towels, we can significantly reduce the consumption of paper towels. Simply wet towels, wring out excess water and wipe up any spills or messes. We especially like these because they're easy to clean with a little bleach diluted and can be composted at home at the end of their lifespan. I definitely recommend these cute but effective towels.

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Some issues

love these things! for housewares

Swedish kitchen towels are now my favorite! I ordered another cheaper set when I tried them for the first time and liked them so much I tried more. I ordered these based on the color/pattern and they sounded like they could be a better quality than my previous ones. Indeed they are. So thick and absorbent. They wash well, but I try to avoid more frequent washing by sanitizing them in the microwave (just toss them in while damp for a minute or so). I love them and will definitely buy more when I

The dishes would be super clean with this, if I wasn't so lazy!

I don't quite understand why I decided to buy this as I usually use kitchen sponges. Something about the promised Swedish practicality won me over. And maybe I thought they were more hygienic because I could wash them more often instead of throwing away sponges. Well, I'm not disappointed - although I don't want to worry too much about kitchen towels. It would be sad. They are sturdier than I expected and having 6 in a pack means some can be washed and others left in the sink. Also, they're…

Eco-friendly cleaning wipes

I bought these during quarantine when we didn't have paper towels and Lysol wipes. They make great cleaning wipes, but don't necessarily absorb a large spill as well as advertised. I like that they are eco-friendly. I hand washed them between uses and then popped them in the dishwasher when we ran the washing machine. I even soaked one in bleach solution after cleaning the oven door with it and it got very dirty. It was clean. Can't speak to durability but they've handled tough cleanings so far

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Very pleasantly surprised

Due to the shortage of paper towels during the coronavirus epidemic, I was preparing to order terry towels for washing dishes to reduce the number of paper towels I use in the kitchen (two or three rolls a week are unacceptable these days). I came across these Swedish fabrics while browsing Revain and decided to order them instead of the terry type. I was very pleasantly surprised at how well they work. They're stiff as cardboard when first unpacked, but swell up nicely when they get wet. So…
